Our Business Centre in Watlington opened in 2005 in a converted 17th century Post House in the centre of a lively market town at the foot of the Chiltern Hills.

We cater to the small business, the growing business, the sole trader and the creative, as well as to those who have discovered working from home – with its constant domestic demands and interruptions – has never been as productive as they’d hoped.

Home to a variety of businesses including a hedge fund, a rug dealership, a property consultancy, an export outfit, an organic food co., a lawyer, a plumber, a PR agency, a website developer, an accountant and a ship breaker, over the years we’ve seen more than 100 businesses expand beyond our walls. While it’s sad to see them go, we’re delighted to have been a part of their growth: it’s why we consider ourselves a greenhouse for young businesses.

The team are incredibly friendly and nothing is too much trouble. All the benefits of a fully functioning office without the standing cost and all at a sensible price. And the location is great – easy access to the M40.

A building steeped in history

Long before its current incarnation as Watlington Business Centre, the pretty 17th century red brick building on the high street was a busy post house on the Oxford to London road, where coaches changed horses and weary travellers stopped for food and overnight lodging.
